Wow sooooo tasty and fresh sushi and sashimi. Very interesting flavors. The tableware is very clean and nice design. Interior little gloomy. Waitress was very nice. She spoke Armenian.

Kaviar in Pasadena is hands down one of the best luxury sushi restaurants in Los Angeles. The quality of the fish, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all absolutely top tier. If you’re looking for premium sushi, caviar service, omakase-style dishes, Wagyu, and high-end Japanese dining in Pasadena, this place delivers on every level. We started with the caviar service, then ordered the truffle toro, Wagyu tacos, yuzu yellowtail, spicy tuna crispy rice, toro tartare, and several sushi dishes. Everything was incredible, but the truffle toro completely stole the show. Easily one of the best bites I’ve had at a sushi restaurant — rich, buttery, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. The yuzu yellowtail was bright and refreshing, the spicy tuna crispy rice had the perfect crunch, and the Wagyu tacos were unreal. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The restaurant itself has an upscale, modern atmosphere while still feeling intimate and welcoming. I came here for Galentine’s and the entire experience felt elevated from start to finish. The atmosphere is intimate and refined, with a beautiful Japanese-inspired aesthetic and moody lighting that makes it feel special the moment you walk in. We started with seasonal oysters and the Kaluga caviar service — both fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. The toro tartare and amberjack bluefin were clean and flavorful, and the miso glazed cod was the standout — caramelized, tender, and perfectly sweet and savory. We ended with a lychee martini and crème brûlée, which was the perfect finish. But what really made the night was the customer service they were attentive, welcoming, and truly top tier. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Kaviar is beyond incredible, hands down one of the best sushi experiences in the world. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the energy, elegant, refined, and full of passion for excellence. Every dish we tried was pure perfection. The sashimi? Next level fresh and delicate, practically melting in your mouth. The champagne pairing took it all to another dimension, absolute luxury from start to finish. But what truly makes Kaviar special is the people. Massive shoutout to NU, the bartender who made some of the most creative and beautifully balanced cocktails we’ve ever had. Narin, our server, was phenomenal, attentive, kind, and so knowledgeable about every single detail on the menu. And to Vanessa and Leticia, the amazing managers, your hospitality made the night unforgettable. You can tell this team runs on passion and precision. This isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. Every moment felt curated, every flavor designed to impress. If you’re in Los Angeles and love world class sushi, Kaviar is the place to go. Truly a hidden gem that deserves every bit of recognition.
